On Saturday July 29th, we entered a beach volleyball tournament hosted by the Karen Shank Foundation at the Village Oasis in Vaughan. The day was quite successful with $6500 raised for the Halton Women’s Place. Our team, Sand Storm, consisted of Carol, Andrew, Karyn, Sal, Eric and myself. We played at the rec level and placed second, which was quite a surprise considering we had never played as a team before.
