This year was the first time I was on the other end of the Mother’s Day celebrations and it was fantastic! Eric hid a cute card in Hailey’s crib for me to find in the morning.

Sal, Sophie, and Caleb were in town, so we had a family dinner to celebrate Sal’s birthday, which is on May 8th, and Mother’s Day!

Hailey had her first play date with several of my colleagues from Suncor. There happened to be a large group of us who were all pregnant around the same time. Unfortunately, Hailey being the youngest wasn’t able to sit up or really interact with the other babies, but it was a fun day for mommy!

Just some random shots, including visits with yaya, grandpa, uncle Ken, aunt Pat, aunt Elaine, great aunt Nimu, uncle Mo, uncle Sal, and cousin Caleb. As you can see in several pictures, Hailey enjoys her tummy time and makes quite an attempt to crawl. In fact, she just rolled over for the first time on May 20th, during her massage.

Nani and nana threw Hailey her second open house on April 10th. It was a fun night with a fantastic dinner! It was great to see the whole family and Hailey’s little cousin Caleb. It’s amazing how a new generation strengthens the family bond.
