Gjabakkahellir

The cave tour took us through the Gjabakkahellir lava tube situated into the lava field of Gjabakki in the area of Thingvellir National Park. The cave is 800m long and 150 m from the road. It is an extraordinary combination of tunnels, lava rivers and stalactites in a mysterious world of silence.
