Tour of Tenerife - Landscape

We started our Tenerife day at 5:00 am. That was painful, especially when we were used to waking up at 2:00 pm. Anyway, here we are getting ready for our 'cruise'.



Our first stop was a fair ways up the mountain. This was a major hot spot; the narrow road was lined with buses and cars. Anyway, another cool crater.

Yup, there's the volcano in the back. Unfortunately, we weren't able to go all the way to the top, but it was still pretty cool. You now need a special permit to be allowed to ascend to the very top, and even then, there is a time limit of 20 minutes.
