FIRST SHOTS OF MIATA
Here's the first view of my toy. No, not the girl inside the car, she's my cousin.
The car is the toy, you pervert. Like it? I love the color. Fell in love with the car as soon as I saw it.
I always wanted a nimble fast convertible. I finally found someone willing to sell it.
Really nice guy, barely even used the car. Oh well, I'm not complaining...:)
The toy is a 1999 Miata. I got lucky because this was the first year that they changed the look and
extended the length of the car. I finally fit in it. I never liked the pop-up headlights version.
This model looks a lot more muscular, but still maintains the nimble look and feel. Also it’s the first year
for this shade of blue.
Yet again, another view of the toy. Stop staring at my cousin! She's already dating another guy,
so forget it, you've got no chance. Another cool thing about the car is that they dropped the gear ratios
by 30% and shortened the length of the stick. Of course it’s manual, only a moron would get a sports car as an automatic.
Net result is a quick acceleration and fast gear switches. This was also the first year of the standard audio panels.
Yay! maybe audio system mods are next. Can you tell that I love to tinker?
Here's another view of the car. If you look in the background, you can see the rust bucket that I usually drive.
Yup, it’s a Mazda too and no, I'm not a Mazda brand lover. The first car was bought because it was cheap and reliable
(Hondas, Toyotas are too expensive used). Well, the car lived up to its reputation of being reliable. I'm very abusive
to my cars. They transport me, cousins, toys, dogs, parents, lumber, house supplies, groceries, computers, and on and on.
My car was never very clean, but now with my new toy, I have to keep the old rust bucket working for awhile.
Don't want to take my toy out during the winter.
