TENERIFE'S BLACK SAND BEACH
During our tour of Tenerife, we visited one of its volcanic black sand beaches.
Although it was a gorgeous sight, it can't be the most comfortable place to
catch a tan.
We couldn't get over how beautiful this beach was. We teased Nisha about how
her island just couldn't compare. After a day of listening to us whine she
decided to take us to a similar beach in Gran Canaria, which was also very beautiful.
Talk about a desktop wallpaper! Somehow, the color of the water at the black
sand beaches is very different from what you find at other the local beaches.
It has this aqua blue translucent look, while the others look pretty mucky.
We found out the waves come in pretty close, and they can get really big. So,
it was everyone for themselves! Boo cheats, and fights dirty!
Here, you can see Mother Nature chasing Spacey and Boo. And obviously water +
rocks = major hazard, so we're not faking running fast... just trying to stay
standing.
Pretty high, eh? The best part was watching Spacey run as soon as the pic was
taken. Poser to athlete in 0.2 seconds, baby!
