Thanksgiving in Winnipeg

So, we spent our Thanksgiving in Winnipeg this year. Lazy as we are, we didn't end up having the traditional dinner. Nope, no turkey for us. We did have some really great Thai and Ethiopian food though. The food was well worth the trip! I am desperately trying to find a good Ethiopian restaurant here in Mississauga, but have had no luck yet.

This is a pic of The forks, a really cool riverside area. There is quite a bit of history to this site. It is believed to be a meeting place for trading in the past. This weekend was definately a gorgeous time to visit The Forks. The weather was just beautiful. Just about everyone was walking their dogs, while we ditched ours back in T.O.

Another pic at The Forks. Here, Gopher and Crypes seem to be doing a really bad job at convincing each other of a game to play. We did end up attempting to play ultimate, but that's quite difficult to do on an entire field with only six people. However, it was quite "interesting" to try. I'm sure Nisha, who was spectating, would agree with that statement.

Another pic at The Forks. Here Boo and Gopher seem to be playing keep-away. Actually, I have no idea as to what we're doing, but it sure as hell looks like Nisha's pissed. Then again, when Gopher's around... that's not exactly unheard of.

Here's the gang at The Forks.

Here Boo and Gopher look like they're in time out for playing football in the house. Actually, if you look closely, you'll notice the art work on the ledge there. The entire city is covered with murals and some really really amazing art work. It really adds so much character to the city.

Here we have 3 posers and 2 hot asses in search of Nemo. Hey guys, haven't you heard? They found Nemo.

Here we are at the Ethiopian restaurant, Massawa. If you're even in Winnipeg, you should definately check it out. It has a very authentic feel and a nice and quiet ambience, ideal for good conversation. Of course, we probably pissed everyone in there off with our perverted discussions and whatnot. I would share more, but apparently what happens in Winterpeg stays there.

Do we look hungry and tired? The funny part is after dinner, we were supposed to go out partying. We stopped by the liquor store prior to dinner and stocked up. We actually didn't go overboard this time. If you've even come over to Loo and seen the top of our fridge, you know what I'm talking about.

Here's a pic of Kam and Nicole.

Orgyfest - That should be pretty self explanatory.

Boo, the girl from the hood, managed to revert back to her old ways and engage in some vandalism. No details.

We just couldn't resist this sign. And for those of you out there who think we're pervs, it's not just us. Apparently, this sign was commented on in one of the local Winnipeg papers.

While we were in Winnipeg, missing our dogs, they were back in T.O. living it up. I guess there is the proof that in their minds, we are in fact the pets.
